Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas this year. Aiden of course was spoiled. He got the vacuum he wanted from Santa, along with lots of other fun things.Presents from Grandma Swanson

Pumpkin cream cheese muffins! I only bake these once a year because they are so good and moist they don't last long. I could eat these for every meal of the day even knowing they are going right to my hips.

Couples night out

We made our way downtown Bellevue this year for our annual Christmas dinner. We had a great night stopping at 3 different places and exchanging gifts. Now we are counting down until our weekend away in the snow with all the families.

Santa 2011

This was the best picture we got of Aiden and Santa this year. Aiden did not want to let go of Tristan or I. He asked for a vacuum this year, "just like Moms" he said. He is so cute!

Mark turns 4!

We had a fun filled weekend for Mark's 4th birthday. Saturday we went to the children's museum were they had a bast. We then went to the Mill Creek town center for some cake and present opening. A few hours after that we found out Santa and his reindeer would be walking through town! So we went back and got some candy the Elf's were throwing and saw Santa. Sunday we went to Trent and Lisa's for a family dinner to celebrate some more. Aiden had a great weekend spending so much time with his cousin.

Some day I will remember that I need to pick these in a backwards order so they load in the order that events happened, but for now.. oh well! We had 6 people from MN come out to visit us last week, we had so much fun with them.

Aiden loves to help cook these days, here we are making more pumpkin cookies!

Halloween

Aiden had a great time with Halloween this year. We went to Duvall and walked around town with a group of friends collecting all the candy the kids could get their hands on! When we got home and the doorbell started ringing Aiden got so excited. He was the one handing out candy this year, he did it all!

Zoo

Tristan and I were both off all day on Monday, we haven't had a full day together as a family in a long time. It was great watching Aiden get excited about all the animals, his favorite are the penguins. The gorilla and pic of Tristan are ones Aiden took, he is loving using the camera now

More pumpkin goodies!

I found pumpkin ice cream at Trader Joe's and Thomas makes pumpkin spice bagels (there are a few bags of those in my freezer now!)

Now I think I found my favorite cookie, Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies. I made them for the first time today and I will be bringing most of them to work so I dont eat them all!

Being Crafty

I saw this on a blog a while ago and decided to try making my own. I think it turned out pretty good, now just to find a place in the house for it!

Aiden Turns 3!

This is what you get when you ask Aiden to smile these days for the camera! He is too cute. I figured out if I tell him to laugh I will get a good smile out of him though, but this is all he would let me take this morning. He was excited about blowing out the candle. Aiden had a great day, Grandpa and Granny spoiled him and then he chose to have dinner at Ixtapa. Now he is excited for his party on Saturday and keeps asking when his friends are coming over.

I was greatful for the few hours I was able to spend with the Jones family. The kids are growing up so fast, I wish we lived closer to I could watch it all happen.
