Crazy Kid!

Aiden is getting good at talking! We are getting new stuff out of him all the time. I have to make a list for next time i sit down to blog because when i come to do this i cant think of everything he says! He is at two naps a day and by no means is he on any schedule anymore! We have just started giving him crayons and the spoon! He loves the cheerios and milk! Aiden also loves to open and close the garage door for Dad in the morning. I have him close it and then he waves to Dad as he goes to his car. He also loves the garbage truck, when i hear it coming i tell him and he runs to the window to watch.

Since Aiden has turned one he has learned a few things!

~ if you ask him how old he is he will hold up one finger

~we are starting to understand some words (cheese is a big hit with him), hot

And the "accident" : ) Aiden fell and had to go to the ER and get two stitches. It was way past his bed time but he did great while waiting the 45 min just for the area to numb. Then it took 3 of us to hold him down while the doc stitched him up.

Happy Birthday Aiden!!

We had a great time celebrating Aiden's 1st birthday with friends and family on Sunday the 20th. Aiden was super tired but had a great time anyways. We were lucky enough to have the sun come back out after having it poor on Saturday. We were able to be outside and enjoy the last days of summer together. Aiden dug right into his cake with no problems! Then all the kids helped him eat it. It was fun to watch. Aiden even shared his cake with Grandpa Kessler.

11 months old

I thought i should get in one more post before Aiden turns one! He has started walking!!! He is getting braver and braver every day. It's so fun to see him at this stage. We are so proud of him. Here are a few pictures from this last week.

Sign Language!

Aiden used sign language for the first time tonight... he told me he wanted milk. Too cute. We use it everyday and i was wondering when he would do it!

Little Things

So here is just an update on the little things Aiden has been up to!

~waving bye bye
~standing without holding onto things
~walking behind a little truck he can push
~coming to me when his diaper needs to be changed
~hes not fighting naps so much anymore
~unrolling the toilet paper when we forget to close the door and he sneaks in!
~eating really well now, no more baby food for him!

I can't beleive he is almost 1 !!!

Aidens First Time to MN

We went to MN for Jonica's graduation party and had a great time. It was great that we got to see everyone and have Aiden meet the rest of his family. Thursday after getting in we went to Jacie and Ryan's house and everyone played wiffle ball and drank, Friday we went to Trevor and Joy's and shot guns and drank, Saturday was paintball day and then we drank some more that night ( do you see a pattern here at all! ), Sunday Tristan and I met up with some friends for breakfast and then came home and It was grad party time, and that of course meant more drinking and volleyball. Monday... RELAXING!!!! Then we headed home on Tuesday! A lot happend in the time we were there but it was a lot of fun. Aiden did great on the flight out there... not so much on the way home, he cried the whole time. All the grandkids except for Mark

9 months old

Nine months old on June 21st, which was also Father's Day and my birthday! What a busy day. I got a massage and my nails done while Tristan and Aiden walked around the mall and went to lunch. Tristan enjoyed the time he got to spend with Aiden alone. So here's a little story for you! Tristan had just finished putting the gate at the top of the stairs so we were up there looking at it and i look down stairs to see what Aiden was doing and he was ON THE SECOND STEP SITTING BACKWARDS!!! so i ran down and jumped right behind him in time for him to fall in my arms...! That's as far as he has ever gotten up them. We need to find a gate for down there now too! We are leaving for MN this week and are excited for Aiden to meet the rest of his family.

On the move!

So this past week has been a fun one. We have played in the pool and gone on lots of walks. Aiden has been crawling too! At first he would only get going from the sitting position and yesterday he started getting up from laying on his belly too. He must have gotten sick of the army crawl he had going on! He has also learned to sit himself up from laying down. The funny thing about his crawl is he will use his left knee and then have his right leg stretched out and use his foot. It's really funny to watch him get around now. I guess we will be putting those baby gates up very soon. Oh and I went it to get him from his nap and he was standing up!!! He was all smiles like "look what I did mom!" So yes he is also pulling himself up on everything now.

8 months

It's hard to believe Aiden is already 8 months old. He is getting so big. I had to post the sleeping picture of him here, it's just too cute! The other one is him just eating some blueberries. He loves them, any fruit actually. He has started to put food in his mouth by himself but we are still working on that one. I noticed two upper teeth yesterday too. Thats a total of 4! Sadly Aiden is on his 2nd cold in about a month too. He had a fever of 102 for a day but luckily that went away and then came the runny nose. Tristan is loving that Aiden is saying dadda from time to time. Aiden loves to just mumble all day long, we just love having conversations with him.

This last weekend Tristans mom was in town and we went to Leavenworth on Saturday and the weather was perfect over there. Sunday we went on and adventure with Trent, Lisa, and Mark up to the Tulip Festival... again the weather was great and it was really pretty... BUT I do not recommend going on a weekend and in the afternoon! We sat in traffic FOREVER!!! The boys were hungry and we were all tired! Not the best idea for something to do with Grandma! But we got some good pictures of the boys and had a good time otherwise!

Family Update

Aiden is almost 7 months now. He is rolling all over the place, can't leave him alone anymore! He is getting his 2 front bottom teeth, one is out pretty good already. We are trying more and more food with him now that he is VERY interested as to what we are eating, he didn't take to the strawberry we tried tonight too well but he loves bananas. Tristan's mom is coming out the last weekend of this month and we are very excited to have her out to spend time with Aiden and Mark. We are just gearing up for the busy summer ahead and hoping for lots of warm sunny days to play outside!

Aiden's First Easter

We went to church with Trent, Lisa and Mark in the morning and then headed to my parents house for dinner. Aiden did pretty good in church. He ended up falling asleep on Dad even through all the loud music! In the morning we gave Aiden his basket that the Easter Bunny had brought him! He brought a pool for this summer, now we just need some of that...whats it called? ... SUN!!!! It was the first time we put shoes on him too, and he thought it was best to eat them! Too cute.

Sunny Days!

Today was too nice to not get out in the sun! Aiden's first time in the grass and he didn't seem to mind it.

Too Cool

We got to go hang out with family this last sunday and Mark came down looking good in his shades! He is getting so big it's amazing. He is so much fun to watch grown and learn new stuff. Soon enough the two boys will be causing trouble when they get together! Of course we had to get pictures of Aiden with the shades and in the car!

6 Months

Our little monkey as we like to call him is 6 months old today.

Just Some Fun

This jumper is from cousin Mark and Aiden is finally big enough to play in it. He is loving it and bouncing all around and loving all the toys on it.

Aiden is now holding his bottle by himself for the most part. And notice his big scratch he gave himself in the middle of the night.

At Aiden's 4 month doctor visit he weighed in just under 16 lbs and 26 in long!

Roll'n time!!!

At 4 months and 1 day Aiden has decided to start to roll over! Yay!! I had him on his tummy while we were on the floor playing and all of a sudden he was on his back. Im still trying to get a video of him laughing up here but i can't seem to figure it out. It's on my facebook page if you have that though.
